URGENT!! Regional Quality Manager (Construction/ISO 9001/ Audit) JS27

- Developing and implementing procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the quality
- Central Area
- Construction is a MUST!
- Willing to travel if needed

Work in office but need to go site if requested
Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Establish Project Quality System, implement and maintain in accordance to Singapore standards
- Monitor all legal and regulatory compliance requirements and performance and identify preventive programs to mitigate any potential non-compliance.
- Assess the implementation of Quality Plan and Quality Control Plans at sites and to ensure the project Quality plan follows specification and contract requirements
- Visit sites periodically and conduct detailed and recorded quality, process and safety check so as to ensure the quality is up to industry and company standards
- Ensure adequate corrective measures are implemented in cases of non-compliance
- Liaise with Authorities, vendors, sub-contractors and external parties on project quality matters and improvement requirements
- Conduct and organize/support QMS Internal/External audit and ensure close out of all Inspection and Audit Non conformities
- Attend client quality management meetings
- Coordinate Final Handover documentation activities to ensure smooth handover
- Provide and organize training for staff regarding Quality matters from time to time, including materials, workmanship, health, safety and environmental issues
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- ISO 9001: 2015 Lead Auditor Certificate
- Minimum 8 years of experience in implementation and management of quality systems preferably in construction sector
- Familiar with all aspects of quality standards and processes requirements of local Authorities
- Strong communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings and status reports
- Attentive to details
- Analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws and pose solutions to those flaws Ability to handle stress and to operate under deadlines whilst standards are conformed
