Job Description:
Position: Butler Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Butler in providing exceptional service to guests, including serving meals, arranging activities, and fulfilling special requests
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion at all times
- Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of guest cabins and public areas
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals, including setting and clearing tables
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation and seamless guest experience
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a timely and courteous manner
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hospitality or cruise environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
