PRIVATE BUTLER for Luxury Residence & family owned Wine Estate in Franschhoek

Pro Staff Select are in search of an extremely talented and passionate BUTLER to take on PERMANENT employment at this luxury private Residence, Villa and Guest Cottages in Franschhoek.
Candidates MUST be extremely well spoken in ENGLISH, highly professional, YOUTHFUL, trustworthy, extremely presentable and display a SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY.
DUTIES INCLUDE
- Waitering, Wine and Beverage service for breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Housekeeping, Laundry and general cleaning duties
- Assisting Head Chef with kitchen duties, basic prep and wash-up
- General Household and Estate duties
- Administration, Reservations and Purchasing of ingredients
- The property owners often invite celebrity friends and family to stay on the estate for 2 - 3 weeks at a time.
- NO CHILDREN however are permitted at these premises.
- Guests visiting the estate range from groups of 2 - 20 with 6 permanent staff on duty daily.
- Only 4 major events / functions per annum are hosted at the estate for a maximum of 40 guests
- This is a luxury residence owned by high profile celebrity status family where discretion is always required
- The owner is EXTREMELY particular about staff APPEARANCE & overall PRESENTATION
- Only NON-SMOKERS will be considered
- NO VISIBLE TATTOOS are permitted
- NO GOLD or SILVER capped teeth are allowed
- An interactive, confident and engaging PERSONALITY is ESSENTIAL
- At least 4 - 5 years’ experience as a Butler within 5-star plus hotels, private residences and diplomatic homes
- Strengths in presenting and serving a range of quality / award winning international & local wines
- Exceptional knowledge and wide range of cuisines and technical skills for serving international / British Code
- Must be adaptable to working all times and duties as needed
- Effective communication skills and proficient in English & an outgoing personality
- Valid SA drivers license without any endorsements
- Credit and Criminal checks will be done on all candidates screened
- Must demonstrate good planning skills, be well organized and work efficiently and hygienically
