Minimum Requirements

• A degree in Optometry from an accredited institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, visual acuity testing, and ocular health assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a range of eye conditions, including refractive errors, glaucoma, and other ocular diseases.
• Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids based on patient needs.
• Educate patients on eye health and preventive care, offering lifestyle recommendations where necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including ophthalmologists and medical teams, to provide holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with industry standards.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry and eye care.
