• Knowledge of practice management software and electronic health records (EHR).
• Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and financial reports.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the optometry practice, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
• Manage staff schedules, including optometrists, technicians, and administrative staff.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and industry standards in patient care.
• Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
• Manage the financials of the practice, including budgeting, billing, and ensuring that financial goals are met.
• Implement and monitor office procedures, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective patient flow.
• Recruit, train, and manage staff to foster a supportive and high-performing team environment.
• Maintain inventory levels of optical products and supplies, ensuring availability of necessary stock.
• Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and services.
• Handle marketing efforts to promote the practice and attract new patients.
• Ensure accurate patient records are kept and are in compliance with privacy regulations.
