Head Chef - Luxury Private Lodge - Kruger National Park

Kendrick Recruitment is looking for an experienced and passionate Head Guide to lead a world-class safari team and deliver an unforgettable wildlife experience for every guest. If you’re ready to guide guests through the beauty of the Kruger with top-tier service, unmatched knowledge, and a touch of adventure, this is your moment!
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the guiding team, ensuring each guest receives an extraordinary, customized safari experience.
- Plan and implement guiding strategies, manage budgets, and strengthen reserve relationships.
- Keep the game drives smooth by overseeing vehicle maintenance and clearing tracks for seamless journeys.
- Be the ultimate host, respecting each guest’s preferences and dietary needs.
- Engage in conservation efforts and share the lodge’s message of sustainability and environmental awareness.
- Contribute to social media, bringing your passion and stories from the bush to the world!
- Minimum of 8 years’ guiding experience, with previous management experience in a luxury lodge setting.
- NQF4 professional trails guide qualification, plus DEAT registration and Advanced Rifle Handling.
- Driver’s license, PDP, and a valid First Aid Certificate.
- A passion for photography, astronomy, botany, birding, and tracking is a big plus!
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to inspire both guests and team members.
- Fit, adaptable, and ready to work under challenging conditions with a professional appearance.
- South African citizenship or a valid work visa.
