Unifi is a fast-growing finance and technology company operating in Zambia, South Africa, Uganda and Kenya. Unifi delivers personal lending products through online, mobile phone and branch channels. The company is well supported by strong shareholders and a board of directors with vast experience in entrepreneurship and lending.Unifi is recruiting a new role within its group finance team to build and improve financial structures. The role encompasses the design and execution of finance projects as well as the ownership of the group treasury function.
The ideal candidate must balance financial diligence with entrepreneurial energy, be analytically adept and have a passion for African business. A healthy spirit of adventure and sense of humour would be helpful. Flexibility to travel will be required.

Minimum Requirements
- Qualified CA(SA)
- 5 - 7 years of post-article experience
- Corporate treasury or finance experience advantageous
- Ability to travel from time to time
- Passion for Africa and willingness to work in the developing world context
Duties and Responsibilities
- Holistically understand the business
- Conceptualise, design, and efficiently execute financial projects
- Further develop and document the financial control environment
- Development of granular cashflow forecasting
- Group wide liquidity management
- Management of foreign currency risk
- Pro-active engagement with lenders via covenant and business case reporting
- Reviewing of legal agreements
- Corporate finance and tax structuring
