Instrumentation and Control Engineer - Solar Project

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
- Min 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proven working experience in project management role & execution through EPC/Construction partners in Mineral Processing Projects.
- Thorough understanding of C&I aspects of equipment including Conveying system, Milling, Floatation, Thickeners, Screens, Magnetic Separation, Blowers, Filter presses, etc.
- Sound knowledge of MCC, Siemens PLC, DCS, SCADA, Loop tuning, programming etc.
- Sound knowledge of developing and implementing process control philosophies and APC.
- Understanding of SANS/relevant design code framework
- Excellent communication skills
- Driver’s licence
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a bonus
- The incumbent will be responsible to plan, organise, manage, direct, coordinate and implement control & instrumentation related aspects of all Project Packages.
- SHEQ Compliance.
- Work with business partners as project coordinator to resolve day to day engineering/site related issues
- Monitor project tasks and schedule and ensure compliance to plan
- Track project performance, analyze key risks and highlight in advance
- Responsible for management and handing over of all related drawings/ documents incl. commissioning protocols
- Quality checks
- Ensure project completion within time & budget
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to R90 000,00 per month
Education:
- Bachelors (Required)
- Electro Technical Engineering: 10 years (Required)
