Junior Interior Designer
Claremont

About the Role:
We're seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our team in Claremont, Cape Town.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our Interior Design hospitality and refurbishment projects throughout our property portfolio, particularly within the Botswana, Zambia and South African market.
Responsibilities:
Assist Senior Interior Designers with projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, across locations in South Africa, Zambia and Botswana.
Assist with Quote requests and sample sourcing.
Craft compelling proposal presentations that capture client visions and brand identities, showcasing your understanding of regional design trends.
Curate detailed Revit models including technical drawings and 3D renders.
Compile aesthetic and detailed design presentations on Canva Pro.
Design and execute interiors with a focus on functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability, incorporating industry standards, local flavours and unique inspirations.
Collaborate effectively with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders across continents.
Maintain a proactive and organized approach in a fast-paced, travel-centric environment.
Qualifications:
1. Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, with a proven track record of successful projects.
2. Experience in Interior Design, including a keen eye for detail and a love for beautiful spaces, eager to explore and be inspired by diverse locations.
3. Proven experience designing for the hospitality, retail and corporate industries.
4. Proven experience in sourcing and design execution within the interior design field.
5. Familiarity designing with a client-centric approach, ensuring designs align with client needs and aspirations and industry standards and requirements.
6. Knowledge of the South African real estate market is a plus (not a requirement).
7. Proficiency in design software such as Revit, Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop, Enscape and Canva Pro.
8. Ability to work independently and within a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
10. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
11. Familiarity with hospitality and corporate design principles is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: R14 000,00 - R16 000,00 per month
