Lodge Manager | Luxury Lodge | Northern KZN

Job Title: Lodge Manager
Location: Northern Kwa Zulu-Natal, South Africa
Type: Permanent, Live-in Position
Salary: Starting from R40,000 per month (negotiable)
Package Includes:
- Accommodation in a spacious 2-bedroom, en-suite house with a lounge, dining room, and kitchen.
- Access to a communal swimming pool shared with one other flat.
- Use of a company vehicle while on the reserve.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth functioning of all lodge departments.
- Manage guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, stock control, and food and beverage operations.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and prepare financial reports.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain high service standards, address guest concerns promptly, and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with marketing teams and partners to drive occupancy and revenue optimization.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a 5-star lodge or luxury hotel/resort.
- Proven success in lodge operations, financial management, and staff leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and property management systems.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.

- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Adaptability to changing circumstances and effective task prioritization.
- Dedication to upholding high service standards and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
