Kendrick Recruitment is on the hunt for a dynamic Groups & Incentives Travel Specialist to join a globally renowned luxury brand based in Sandton, Johannesburg. Key Responsibilities:
- Crafting creative, out-of-the-box itineraries for leisure groups (bonus points for incentive-specific experience!).
- Managing group bookings from quote to finalisation, ensuring budgets and expectations are met.
- Proactively selling the best products and services to meet the specific needs of each group.
- Coordinating and communicating seamlessly with agents, guests, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Upholding &Beyond’s values: Care of the people, care of the land, care of the wildlife.
- Occasionally travelling with groups or conducting site inspections with agents/guests.
- At least 3 years of experience in touring groups, with a strong understanding of group policies.
- Expertise in Tourplan or a similar booking system.
- In-depth geographical, logistical, and product knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, and Kenya (additional knowledge of Namibia, Uganda, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Mozambique is a bonus).
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, in English.
- Excellent negotiation, customer service, and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- An independent, proactive problem-solver with a "can-do" attitude.
- A methodical, creative thinker with a knack for delivering exceptional customer service.
- High energy, flexibility, and an ability to adapt to changing demands.
- A passion for the travel industry and an eagerness to continuously learn.
