P14277 Technician: Microbiology (Night Shift) - East London Technician: Microbiology (Night Shift) - East London 2024/11/22 2024-11-12 East London East London Full-Time 42 7 day Work Week (South Africa) To process specimens according to set criteria and standards on all the benches in the Microbiology Laboratory National Diploma – Medical Technology (Preferably Clinical Pathology) (Required), Registered as Medical Technician (Chemical Pathology) with the HPCSA (Required) Experience in pathology laboratory environment, Knowledge: Ampath Microbiology document system, Knowledge: HPCSA regulations, Knowledge: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA) Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Perform general tasks in order to assist with maintaining best practice within the laboratory, Perform receiving and resulting tasks on the Meditech system in order to ensure correct handling, preparing and recording of specimen and results, Perform Serological identification typing tasks in order to ensure effective processing and resulting of serological bacterial typings, Process specimens on the benches in order to ensure sufficient delivery of results.
