About the location:
Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is located in the heart of Seoul, offering world-class customized services and sophisticated features based on its craft and expertise. The Hotel, standing tall with 29 glittering stories, is meant to look like an ancient Korean palace of old, but stylized and brought into the 21st century. Classic Korean nature motifs and modern aesthetics adorn the décor, reflecting the surrounding mountain backdrop and views of Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung Palaces. The Hotel features 8 distinct restaurants and bars, including award-winning Yu Yuan and the secret speakeasy Charles H., ranked as the Best Bar in Korea and one of the Asia's 50 Best Bars. The Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant Manager who shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. We are looking for a candidate that is dedicated to creating personalized experiences and lasting memories for our guests. This position reports to the Director of Public Relations and Communications.


Education
A university or college degree in marketing communications or equivalent experience in public relations or marketing communication

Experience
  • A minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience in Marketing Communication/ PR.
  • Experience with social media platforms, consumer engagement and strong awareness of the digital world.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written in English and Korean), analytic and presentation skills, a strong sense of quality, creative mindset, and partnership skills.
  • A pro-active and inquisitive mindset to develop problem-solving, decision making, conflict resolution and strategic thinking mindset.
  • Proven relationships with media, community and business contacts that have delivered demonstrable results, and the personality to maximize these contacts
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with peers, superiors, partners and media.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of mobile, emerging and social media appliances
  • Proven knowledge of graphic arts design and production in collateral including photo and video editing.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively, managing multiple projects while being cognizant of deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to manage third-party agencies, partners and vendors.
  • Attention to detail, with strong planning and organizing skills in timely manner
  • A motivated & self-starter individual, with a strong marketing sensibility and staying up to date on business trends.
  • Proficiency in leveraging social media networks and related monitoring tools, Google Analytics (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Naver, Kakao, Tripadvisor etc.).
Desired Skills
Responsible for developing, generating and executing awareness of the hotel and key offerings through digital presence including but not limited to all forms of social media, digital marketing and communication. Communication and management of all hotel press matters and digital media discipline, in line with the overall hotel PR strategy and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts (FSHR’s) standards and brand image. And support and maintain marketing strategies relating to digital media, marketing collateral and promotional events to meet the Hotel’s objectives. Actively lead the development of a strategic annual marketing plan, with a particular focus on PR and paid media parts, including budgeting.
Digital Marketing
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in e Commerce and digital marketing.
  • Drive efforts to increase online bookings for Retail, Discount, Groups, Meetings & events businesses.
  • Manage SEM, SEO, PPC, programmatic, and retargeting paid media to enhance hotel website traffic, direct booking, collaborating closely with digital agencies.
  • Partner with Revenue Management and utilize Meta Search to prioritize merchandise packages and promotional strategies on FS.com and across online advertising channels.
  • Support direct booking strategy, aiming to shift share from OTAs to company-owned channels.
  • Optimize content across all OTAs to maximize online business opportunities.
  • Explore digital marketing opportunities in GDS (Global Distribution Systems).
  • Maintain relationships with OTAs and Trip Advisor, ensuring up-to-date content and seeking additional marketing opportunities.
  • Oversee the e-commerce platform, coordinating content input with relevant departments, ensuring compliance with accounting and IT procedures, and collaborating with PR colleagues on product promotions.
  • Regularly update and optimize hotel content online to maximize SEO effectiveness in collaboration with PR.
  • Ensure accurate and current information across hotel websites and third-party platforms (OTAs, Wholesale partners, Virtuoso, Amex FHR, Google, Naver, Trip Advisor, Cvent, etc.).
  • Monitor and engage with public review forums (Revinate, Google, Trip Advisor, Naver, etc.).
  • Play a key role in reputation management, advising management on strategic communications, monitoring public sentiment, developing key messages, and managing responses.
  • Contribute to Brand Clarity audits and achieve strong Commercial scorecard results.
  • Conduct market research on competitors' online presence and activities.
  • Utilize Revinate, Google Analytics, C360, and Adobe Analytics to measure and report on digital performance.
  • Focus on increasing hotel top-line revenue through effective execution of commercial strategies.
  • Measure and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, assessing ROI and KPIs monthly prior to the call with the digital agency.
  • Work closely with the regional commercial team and all digital agencies, including Acronym, Torque, and others to achieve the best result in digital discipline.
  • Analyze data to optimize digital presence and conversion rates, coordinating with Revenue team for integrated objectives.
  • Identify trends and insights, and recommend online marketing strategies to optimize spend and performance.
  • Stay updated on paid media, tools, platforms, and best practices.
  • Assist the DOPR with events and marketing initiatives.
  • Support sales and marketing collateral, newsletters, and ensure timely distribution to target audiences.
Others
  • Lead the development of Extraordinary Experiences, including training Cultural Ambassadors, coordinating with partners, booking experiences, and representing media interests.
  • Undertake adhoc projects or tasks assigned by DOPR or DOM
  • Comply with Four Seasons Category One and Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in the Employee Handbook
  • Be a brand ambassador to Four Seasons Hotel Seoul at all times, both in and out of the hotel and on personal social media accounts
Key Expectations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power Power, Excel Graphs etc
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated strong partnering skills and analytical skills.
  • Photography and video skills.
  • Demonstrated strong marketing sensibility and staying up to date on on-line trends.
  • Computer savvy with Microsoft office.
