JOB TITLE: Business Controller
DIVISION: GAP (Gas and Process)
REPORTING TO: General Manager
LOCATION: Busan, South Korea

[MISSION]

• Ensure efficient operation of division through proper controlling of company assets, functional costs, especially in an area of working capital (inventories and receivables).
• Deliver accurate financial and operational figures and analysis to General Manager & First Line Managers to achieve targets and make proper decisions.
• Give early warning signals in terms of problems with functional cost control and cash flow management.
• Training the whole GAP organization on sound business and financial matters

[KEY RESPONSIBILITY]

Controlling

• Comply in all terms with the concepts and procedures of "The Way We Do Things" of the Atlas Copco Group for your role as Business Controller.
• Collaborate closely at regional and global level within all division regarding all aspects of business controlling.
• Monitor sound internal control procedure/prokura in line with group guideline.
• Lead Controlling-related processes and tools for new projects and integration.
• Review and approve expense execution, including CAPEX, and procurement-related activities.
• Review the balance sheet with General managers in a quarterly basis.
• Prepare standard and non-standard scorecards for various business meetings, monthly or annual report required by divisions.

Budgeting and forecasting

• Lead the development and execution monthly, yearly and 3-year long-term forecasts.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Provide regular updates on financial performance projections.

Financial

• Review GAP monthly report and give feedback to Finance Service Center.
• Ensure all monthly/ quarterly / yearly required group reports are done in a timely manner.
• Conduct monthly budget vs. actual variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to track key metrics and areas of improvement.
• Ensure the highest control of the balance sheet and P&L, through adequate procedures and processes, training of the finance employees and monitoring of systems.
• Claim warranty reimbursement to Division in every quarter.

Others

• Secretarial duty to Division reports and meetings including monthly report, management meeting, and CRM etc.
• Review transfer price in every half of the year and make an adjustment according to Group TP policy and procedures.
• Give a training to relevant personnel, mid-managers and First Line Managers to develop their knowledge in Finance field.
• Participate in external (including Corporate/Customs Tax) and internal audits related to controlling functions.
• Review the customer / vendor contract and take an action to avoid any risk.

[REQUIREMENTS]

• A University Degree in Accounting / Business Administration or equivalent
• Over 10 years’ experience in finance and/or business control
• Background in industrial area B2B or relevant is a plus.
• Familiar with Group accounting principles, IFRS, cost accounting and statutory accounting Rules
• Good knowledge of ERP(SAP) system is a big plus
• Mature and Positive Team Player, Pro-active at all time, Stress-Resistant.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill
• Fluent in Both English and Korean
