As a Solution Engineer, you will work with, and be the expert in, multiple finance solutions - some used across multiple markets in VFS. You will work to fully understand the functionality and capabilities of the systems they support, applying this expertise in working closely with stakeholders to ensure business results are achieved by getting the most from these systems.
The Solution engineer will be an experienced analyst dedicated to implementing commercial, finance & operational functionalities for financial services companies using various platforms. They will be able to lead projects and be a team member of others.
Additionally, the Solution Expert will be a strong communicator at all levels of the organization, able to communicate complex information in a user-friendly way and able to work and communicate cross-culturally.
You will report to the Solution Business Lead – South Korea. The following locations are possible: Korea (Seoul).

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• System Owner of key solutions
• Gather requirements, plan, design & implement digital solutions for all parts of the organization
• Recommend & inspire new ways of working, identifying opportunities to improve solutions
• Key member of the project team driving modernization & transformation of digital business solutions
• Work closely with business stakeholders, across multiple departments & countries
• Analyze & translate business requirements to understand needs for solution modifications
• Assess systems capabilities & validate the feasibility of the proposed solutions
• Ensure understanding of any changes or updates to solutions, throughout design, testing & roll-out of the change
• Support the solution development process by providing business & technical best practices & identifying functionalities necessary to cover business needs
• Lease with the development & support team to validate the functional & technical specifications & test cases
• Provide some 1st and 2nd line application support

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree or specialized diploma in Computer Science or IT preferred
• 3+ years' experience delivering solution changes & continuous improvements
• Very good business analysis & change management skills
• Hand-on experience of application operation
