Finance Specialist

This person must be based in Spain to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities
- Review of journal entries and vendor invoices
- Run month end with finance team and perform review of all accounts
- Perform monthly variance analysis to identify missing items/out-of-the-normal spending and trends
- Improve and maintain compliance areas, including coordinating with external partners (tax, VAT, transfer pricing)
- Perform monthly consolidation (Net Suite) and reconciliation of intercompany accounts
- Improve and optimize finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Prepare and review audit documentation and assist with the annual audit process
- Ad hoc requests and projects (e.g. Net Suite optimization, process automation and enhancing of general documentation)
- Analyze and integrate potential acquired companies
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Data Analytics or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in Controlling, AR, AP and/or Revenue
- Critical Thinking and highly motivated
- Net Suite, Excel, and Google Sheets
- Experience with working in multinational companies (various regulatory frameworks and foreign currencies)
- Exceptional analytical skills coupled with a solid understanding of business dynamics
- Strong communications skills and ability to work cross-functionally and with the senior leadership team
- Verbal and written fluency in English
- Proven track record of delivering on commitments, and working closely & effectively with peers and leaders outside of the Finance team
