Under the direct supervision of the Senior ICT Officer (Infrastructure and Cloud Technology) and
the overall supervision of the Chief, Enterprise Architecture and Technology, the ICT Officer
(Cloud Dev OPS Engineer) will be responsible for developing, designing, implementing and
supporting of cloud technology and solutions to meet specific business needs.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (or
Continuous Delivery) (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure Dev OPS tools for efficient software delivery.
2. Automate build, test and deployment processes to improve software release cycles.
3. Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) templates for provisioning and managing
Azure resources.
4. Ensure consistent and repeatable infrastructure deployment.
5. Manage and configure Azure Dev OPS tools and related technologies for version control,
build, release and monitoring.
6. Migrate on-premises workloads to the cloud. Once in the cloud, monitor and optimize them for
performance and cost.
7. Implement monitoring solutions to track application performance and system health.
8. Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues to ensure system reliability.
9. Integrate security measures and compliance checks into the CI/CD pipelines.
10. Ensure that applications and infrastructure adhere to security and compliance standards.
11. Collaborate with development, operations and QA teams to streamline processes and
improve collaboration.
12. Develop scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
13. Standardize and automate repetitive tasks.
14. Create documentation for processes, procedures and configurations.
15. Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members.
16. Be accountable for the performance and reliability of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring they meet
business requirements.
17. Integrate security and compliance into the development and deployment process.
18. Be accountable for the effectiveness of monitoring and incident response, ensuring that

Required Qualifications and Experience:
