About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, manage, and optimize Mongo DB and Oracle database environments.
• Develop and implement backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies for production environments.
• Monitor performance, availability, and security of database systems.
• Collaborate with development teams on database integration within microservices architectures.
• Implement and manage databases in Kubernetes environments.
• Assist in network infrastructure design and configuration.
• Automate processes using tools like Ansible, Bash, or Python.
• Work closely with Dev Ops and SRE teams to optimize services and improve database performance.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a DBA, with a specialization in Mongo DB.
• Languages:
  • Spanish: Required
  • English: C1 level, necessary for technical documentation, emails, and international meetings.

Technical Skills:

• Expert knowledge of Mongo DB.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle and familiarity with other databases (My SQL, Postgre SQL, etc.).
• Experience with Kubernetes environments.
• Familiarity with microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of networking and Linux systems.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus).
• Scripting skills (Ansible, Bash, Python).

Nice to Have:

• Experience in cloud environments (AWS).
• Certification in Mongo DB and/or Oracle.
• Additional certifications in systems or networking.
