What you’ll do:

Around 50 million people across the world have conditions that leave them without a voice. Most aren’t aware that communication technology like ours exists. Our Sales and Business Development Team works to close that gap by building relationships that broaden our reach.
We are looking for driven and goal-oriented Solution Consultant who will be responsible for contributing to even more people getting a voice through one of our speech-generating devices. Your main task will be to grow our sales in an assigned territory by developing close relationships with prescribers of speech-generating devices and assistive technology consultants within the healthcare regions. You will need to develop clinical networks where you can provide AAC knowledge and information on Tobii Dynavox products to potential customers and recommenders, and to support them in the selection of speech-generating devices that best meet the client needs. This role wil cover the Mid-Sweden region (including Västernorrland, Uppsala, Dalarna, Värmland, Gävleborg, Sörmland, Östergötland, among others), and a suitable place of residence is, for example, Uppsala, Gävle, Västerås, or Stockholm with surrounding areas.

Overall goals for the position:
  • Identify key influencers and decisions makers when speech-generating devices are prescribed to people with ALS, CP and Autism, and make sure they know the benefits of Tobii Dynavox products. Develop prescription leads by researching disabilities, accounts, and technology in preparation for acquiring new sales opportunities.
  • Prepare for, execute and follow up on product workshops, webinars, and training sessions to generate interest in or deeper understanding of our AAC solutions and demonstrate our product range and it how benefits the user, healthcare and the society.
  • Collaborate with professionals in the prescription and device implementation journey to make sure they recognize and can benefit from the powerful Tobii Dynavox recourses. Build strong customer relationships, conducting consultative sales calls, both face-to-face and in digital meetings and utilizing your solid product knowledge to match customer needs with product capabilities.
  • Use your coaching skills to support prescribers and assistive technology consultants in choosing Tobii Dynavox solutions. Become their trusted advisor and have the courage to propose AAC strategies that the professionals haven’t tried before.
  • Manage your territory through account maintenance, making sure that they are invited and participate in educational programs and that they have access to internal and external resources to increase customer value. Develop your own territory plan together with your manager and execute activities within your region to increase AAC awareness and achieve set sales goals.
  • Working closely with other members of the Swedish Sales Team and other Tobii Dynavox employees to ensure that all sales opportunities are pursued and closed. And systematically work together with your manager to position our products in regional tenders.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and participating in professional organizations within the AAC industry to enhance sales opportunities. Gather feedback on our solutions and report back to product management, marketing and our sales and support departments.
  • Other team administration tasks may be assigned as needed.

We are looking for someone with:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communication Disorders, Speech-Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Special Education, or a related field. Extensive experience can substitute for lack of formal education.
  • Professional experience in prescription, distribution or sales, particularly in the healthcare or assistive technology sectors.
  • Experience working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices or similar technology is highly desirable.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, as well as experience in providing education and advice on medical or technical products.

  • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written (requirement). Good knowledge of English in speech and writing (business language).
  • Class B driver's license (requirement). You will be assigned a company car, along with other benefits.
