Your role
We are looking for a Head of Business Support to Underwater Systems to build and develop our new department. You will lead a team of different competences and take responsibility and co-ordinate activities in the following main areas: Export Control, Facility Management, Improvements and efficiency, IT, Quality, Risk and Compliance Management, Security, Sustainability including Environment.
You will be a member of the Business Unit management team and a key individual in developing Underwater Systems to further increase success in a changing and expansive phase. As your field of work spans over our entire business, you will work closely with your team, employees, line managers, contract managers, project managers and other leadership roles within the Business Unit. You will also work in close cooperation with similar functions on Business Area, Business Unit and on a Corporate level.
You will report to the Head of Business Unit Underwater systems and be an integral part of the Business Unit management team. You will have one line manager reporting to you as well as a several specialists, leadership roles with various competences regarding business support reporting to you as well. This is a new department in the process of developing areas of responsibility, ways of working and building the Business Support team.
The operations are mainly based in Linköping but we have sites in Karlskoga, Motala, Karlskrona and Malmö. The role involves a certain degree of travel, both within Sweden and internationally.
Your profile
We put great emphasis on personal characteristics for this role and in securing a high performing, co-operative and communicative management team for the business unit.
We are looking for someone who has previous experience from similar management roles, preferably within one or more of the listed Business Support functions described above. You are an engaged and driven manager who clearly aligns daily operations with long-term business goals. You have the ability to motivate and enthuse teams and individuals to perform and your leadership style is highly communicative, collaborative and promotes an open, trustful and encouraging work environment. We look for the ability to be able to perform work within Business Support operatively and strategically together with employees.
You are a confident communicator in both Swedish and English and you easily share information in a clear and relevant manner, both verbally and in writing.
We expect you to be both courageous and curious in leading the department, and to succeed you need to have excellent networking and communicative skills and thrive in a business-driven environment characterized by team work and cooperation.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
