Your role
Aviation Services, a business unit within Saab Aeronautics, delivers a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in the defense and commercial market, for cost-effective support of systems and platforms throughout the life cycle. You will first and foremost be a part of our Business Area Finance organization.
We offer you a challenging and varied position in your role as Head of Contract and Project Control. Your key responsibilities will be proactively focusing on the performance, drive improvements and progress in various financial processes within our business and operations. This includes leading the team of Contract and Project controllers in planning, follow up, analyzing and reporting the financials of the contracts and projects.
You are also responsible for:

Drive and develop the work with monthly reporting, forecasts and budgets.
Develop working methods to secure appropriate ways of working regarding the financials within the business context
Together with your team, be a support to Contract responsibles and Projectleaders in complex financial matters.
Work proactively and contribute to a transparent and inclusive environment
Leading a team of Contract and Project controllers in their day-to-day work

You will report to the BU Controller Aviation Services, and work in close cooperation with the BU Controller and other controllers in the Finance function. As Head of Contract and Project Control, you will also actively contribute to improvements and progress in various financial processes and systems. There will be possibilities to make your own mark on the role, together with the BU Controller.
Your profile
To be successful and thrive in this role it is important to have integrity, be able to motivate others and to have analytic and pedagogical ability to understand and explain financial conditions. You provide energy and continuously aims to create commitment together with other colleagues. You work in a systematic visionary manner towards set targets, and has a high ability to change when needed.
Requirements:

You have a relevant bachelor or master degree within Business Economics
A couple years of experience as Controller / Business Controller
A business-oriented mindset with basic knowledge of project management
A track record of driving successful improvement initiatives
High level of communicational skills, verbally and written both in Swedish and English

Experience from a profit and loss environment is an advantage and knowledge in Agresso and Mercur are meritorious.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
