Your role
Saab Group Treasury is a central function with a global responsibility to coordinate the financial and insurance activities within the group. The Treasury Operations function, that includes Middle Office and Back Office, are responsible for risk control, system maintenance, cash management, settlements, reconciliations and payments for the Saab Group.

As the Head of Treasury Operations, you will take the lead over a highly skilled and motivated team of nine people. You will lead the daily activities and set a long-term strategic plan for the team. This is a great opportunity if you have a genuine interest in finance and have proven leadership capabilities. In this role you will:

• Lead the team and provide guidance, support and mentoring.
• Take ownership of Treasury Operations processes and have a drive for continuous improvement.
• Show strong ability to model and measure financial risks, including interest rate, currency, and credit risks, as well as develop analysis techniques and policies
• Set and implement the Saab Group Cash Management strategy, including managing cash pools, bank account structures, user authorizations, cash flow information, and ensuring the functionality of relevant support systems.
• System ownership, development and maintenance for all treasury related support systems, such as Quantum, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Finastra, CLS and Banking Platforms etc.
• Drive and manage projects within the Treasury area.
• Show proactive support to the rest of the treasury team as well as other internal and external stakeholders
• Manage bank relationships within the Cash Management area
• Take ownership of the entire Internal Bank processes from trade execution all the way to settlements with the banks
• Ownership of the internal funding process including setting the internal rates according to Transfer Pricing regulations

Your profile
To be able to fulfil the role, the Head of Treasury Operations needs to have;

• Relevant academic background
• Minimum 5 years of experience from similar role at a large corporate or bank
• Proven leadership abilities
• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment instruments
• Proven ability to drive change and implement efficiency programs
• Strong understanding of treasury processes and systems

As a person you have a strategic approach, strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritise effectively. You have demonstrated your skill to show good judgment in statements, actions and decisions. You have good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
Saab’s Treasury is based in Linköping. Other locations can be discussed.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
