Your role

• Shareholding disclosure: analysing and handling daily alerts reported by the internal monitoring tool; taking part in regulatory and legal watch;.
• Market abuse: analysing and handling transaction alerts related to insider trading or price manipulation monitoring; taking part in regulatory and legal watch.
• Dormant accounts: identifying, following up and monitoring dormant accounts.
• Team environment framework: be a team member player in implementing an effective Compliance-related monitoring plan, measures and controls to enable an adequate regulatory risk review.
• Business support: providing support for advising to the business and senior management relating to all covered regulatory matters.
• Assisting the team in carrying out other regulatory functions as required.
• Be part of maintaining key internal relationships to foster a positive compliance culture through communication and training, and providing staff with timely and pragmatic advice on day-to-day issues.

Your profile

• At least three years’ experience in the banking or compliance function of a bank (preference in Trade Processing back-office function).
• Good knowledge or strong interest in compliance framework, in particular on shareholding disclosure and/or market abuse environment in particular in rules/regulations, monitoring framework and risk assessment.
• Proficient in standard IT applications (Knowledge of financial information systems such as Bloomberg , Factset, or equivalent an asset. Excellent knowledge of standard Microsoft tools, knowledge of relevant internal systems, front-end management and order-placing systems, etc an asset.
• Strong interest and intention to build an excellent knowledge and understanding of financial instruments and worldwide markets
• Proficiency in English and French, additional languages an asset.
• Team player and good communicator.
• Methodical and precise.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, able to handle multiple tasks and able to deliver into deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
• Strong sense of ethics, aligned with Pictet’s values and partnership culture.
