As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations our business-to-business (B2B) channel. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization by monitoring and analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, ensuring that the company's financial goals are aligned with its overall business objectives. You will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather financial information, analyze trends, and identify areas for cost reduction or revenue growth.
In addition, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining internal controls and procedures to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations. You will also oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports. You will report to the Nespresso Finance Director and work in close collaboration with the Nespresso B2B Director.

A Day in the Life of a Business Controller
- Review and analyze operational and financial performance of Business Functions to provide recommendations
- Identify business risks and opportunities and facilitate decision-making to take advantage of them
- Build together with Business Functions yearly Business Plan, yearly Capital Expenditure plan and 5-year Market Business Strategy
- Contribute to the strategy development and provide associated scenario planning to optimize shareholder value
- Promote compliance to Nestlé and Nespresso guidelines and policies
- Provide timely and 1st time quality financial information to Nespresso HQ
- Work on continuous improvement and simplifications of existing tools and systems, seek best practices across markets
What will make you successful
- University degree in Finance, Business or equivalent (or Brevet Fédéral)
- 3-5 years in a similar role within a large / international company
- Solid understanding of finance in general
- International experience and mobility a plus
- Stakeholder management in matrix organization
- Experience with a well-known ERP
- Advanced knowledge of MS office, particularly MS Excel
- Fluency in French and English, proficiency in Swiss German or German would be an advantage
