As a Business Performance & Analytics Specialist, your will be a part of Nespresso Business Insights Hub in Switzerland acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders. The role will involve enabling data-driven decision-making across all channels and functions by providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making and business growth. Additionally, you will contribute to optimization of analytics products, processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

A Day in the Life of a Business Performance & Analytics Specialist

Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on sales performance data and consumer behavior to drive strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for business growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distribution channels and other core functions.
Conduct regular business performance reviews with distribution channels to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive collaboration.
Present insights and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance and support on data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure insights are shared and utilized across the organization.
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
Ensure proper technical setup and support system-migration and adaptations to reporting landscape.
Train and mentor end users on report consumption, analytics techniques, tools, and best practices.
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in analytics to ensure the team remains at the forefront of business performance analysis.

What will make you successful

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Management or applied Analytics with specific interest in Data.
Proven experience in Business Analytics or related field.
Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and recommendations based on sales performance and consumer behavior analysis.
Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and analyze complex data sets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in conducting business reviews and managing relationships with stakeholders.
Advanced level in Power BI or similar self-service BI tool.
Experience with Snowflake and Google Analytics is a strong plus.
Proficiency in SQL is a strong plus.
Knowledge of the FMCG industry and solid understanding of market dynamics and trends is a plus.
Proficiency in English and French or German.
