Are you exceptionally good at getting stakeholders’ buy-in during challenging discussions?

We’re looking for a C&ORC Group Functions 3rd Party Cyber Risk lead to:

• oversee the 3rd Party 2nd line risk review book of work and set direction/approach for the supporting team
• provide timely and succinct reporting on key outcomes from the team
• deliver timely, best-in-class risk observations, outcomes and independent opinions for our stakeholders as it relates to the 3rd Party and Cyber organizations
• be a trusted advisor for all our stakeholders
• present enterprise-wide risk exposure reports to stakeholders, highlighting cross business impact of risk exposure and enabling decisions based on risk appetite
• provide independent review and challenge of control effectiveness for technology and information security risks
• provide independent challenge of technology assessments undertaken to support critical bank activities; challenge and review technology & cyber risks, recommend risk mitigation and remediation actions to ensure the bank’s technology and operational risks are being effectively managed and controlled
• engage and collaborate with functions across the firm to work together to reduce risk and strengthen the risk culture
• be a member of the Cyber Risk management team and contribute across all areas of responsibility

You will be working in our global C&ORC Cyber Risk team, part of the 2nd line-of-defense, and be based in Switzerland reporting to the Head of C&ORC Cyber Risk. The global team brings together skillsets and background in cyber/information security, technical engineering / software development, IT risk and controls, and a variety of other 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line experience. We welcome a candidate with proven senior leadership in third-party risk, technology and cyber risk management with an understanding of applying business context to technology risk. Other qualifications include:

• 14+ years of relevant Cyber/Security experience, a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership position, with a strong focus on third-party risk management
• adept at managing and responding to cyber incidents involving third parties
• ability to demonstrate strategic vision, and strong leadership capabilities to drive and challenge our organization’s approach to third-party cybersecurity and testing the effectiveness of associated controls
• proven track record driving a cyber risk management culture, building professional relationships with senior stakeholders with the ability to deliver challenging messages
• dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and valuing diverse perspectives and a strong track record for fostering collaborative, effective, and efficient teams
• proven ability to manage work effectively under pressure and deliver products timely
• ability to translate risk assessments into clear, actionable feedback for business partners and deliver succinct messages for board level syndication (outstanding written and verbal communication skills)
