Project/Role:
We are looking for an Export & Forwarding Specialist for our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz.
Background:
The Import Export & Customs department, as part of the Instrument Operations Network of Roche Diagnostics International AG in Rotkreuz, is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing goods at the site. Furthermore, it ensures that laws and guidelines vis-à-vis the authorities are adhered to and that internal compliance requirements are ensured. The team also supports internal departments with import, export, customs, transport and foreign trade issues.
The perfect candidate has a commercial education with further training as a foreign trade specialist and many years of experience in international export business and freight forwarding. In addition, the person has in-depth knowledge of customs clearance in Switzerland, as well as training in the area of ​​dangerous goods.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Process user:
• Application, problem solving and operational responsibility of order and forwarding processes
• Self-initiative and contribution to process improvements and change proposals
• Responsible for achieving goals in day-to-day business
• Monitoring customer orders and ensuring timely delivery to internal and external customers
• Checking, processing and shipping incoming internal customer orders for instruments, spare parts, accessories, reagents and sensors
• Transport organization including loading planning for the daily transport of instruments, spare parts, accessories, reagents and sensors to the global distribution centers
• Organization, coordination and monitoring of national and international transports, including special transports (dangerous goods, refrigerated goods, ATA Carnet)
• Recording, processing and shipping of internal repair orders and returns, as well as external material orders
• Processing of special shipping orders for all business functions at the Rotkreuz location
• Issuing, transmitting and correcting export customs declarations
• Preparation of shipping and customs documents for shipping and customer purposes
• Communication and correspondence with authorities, suppliers, shipping companies and internal departments
• Invoice verification and approval of transport and customs clearance services
• Support and advice on transport and customs issues at the Rotkreuz location

Must Haves:

• Basic commercial training and further training as a foreign trade specialist
• Many years of experience and good knowledge of international export business and forwarding
• In-depth knowledge of customs clearance in Switzerland
• Training in the area of ​​dangerous goods (IATA / ADR)
• Flexibility, ability to work in a team and enjoyment of team-oriented collaboration
• Communicative, dutiful, independent, resilient and reliable personality
• Good PC and user knowledge (MS Office, Google)

Nice to haves:

• Expertise in the SAP modules SD / TM / GTS

Languages:

• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
