Selfcare Materials Management Sr Manager

What will you do
The Selfcare Materials Management Sr Manager is responsible for leading our MRP and MSM teams in order to guarantee successful delivery of all our Supply chain OKRs (Service Level / OTIF-D (material availability), Inventory, SLOB and Agility), being the ultimate direct responsible individual for all the material supply related topics. The resource will oversee a total organization of 10 employees through three direct reports (one per each area)
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the material replenishment team, ensuring sufficient actions are taken to resolve any criticality in terms of material availability.

• Define system policies to maintain optimal Inventory levels in order to fulfil required supply chain targets; monitor execution and define plans to properly address main derailers.

• Support the team defining most critical phase-in/phase-out strategies and oversee execution to make sure obsolescence costs are minimized.

• Monitor performance of the Accounts payable process, to ensure timely payment of invoices and minimal rework required to manage the process increasing process automation.

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and effective manner.

• Coach and support the team on continuous improvement in terms of MRP processes and practices, ensure sufficient resources are allocated to drive the more strategic workstreams.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of material replenishment professionals, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to meet objectives.

• Ensure that Material Inventory components are properly modeled in terms of Safety and Cycle stock, in adherence with Entitlement model (AIM). Keep control over actual inventory structure vs the model, identify main deviations and drive corrective actions to address them.

• Define a structural masterplan to identify the main Inventory drivers and address them by jointly connecting with suppliers and Procurement to resolve main supply chain constraints, pushing to define cost-effective alternatives.

• Define and maintain policies to manage supply chain agreements (SLAs) and performance management with suppliers, in terms of content and review frequency; monitors proper execution and process adherence.

• Co-lead with the Regional Planning leaders all the activities related to Agility to optimize our supply chain thanks to a strong relationship with our suppliers and execution from the teams.

• Supervise process for obsolete and non-performing inventory (SLOB), monitoring accuracy of the quarterly provisions, testing and challenging the assumptions behind the biggest drivers, ensuring sufficient mitigation plans are defined and executed.

Qualifications
What we are looking for

• Degree in supply chain management, Business economics, Operations or related field.

• 10+ years’ experience in Supply chain, with at least 5 year in Planning; extra experience in a Procurement is a plus

• At least 5 years in a management position driving a medium sized organization (10+ people)

• Sound knowledge of Material planning processes and organization

• Quantitative mindset and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate large amounts of information for effective decision-making

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Fluency in English

• Good command of advanced Excel

Desired Qualifications

• Additional experience in other areas of supply chain (Manufacturing, Project mgmt.)

• Experience managing organizational transition within a complex, matrix environment

• Working knowledge of SAP
