SENIOR BUYER - FULL-TIME, ON-SITE
As a Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product offering for the categories assigned to you - DENIM.
You will be responsible for driving the commercial success of the collections by curating the best assortment for our TALLY WEi JL customers. In this role, you will manage the entire buying process, from product selection to final negotiations, ensuring that our collections are competitive, on-trend, and delivered on time.
Your Day to Day…
• Develop and implement buying strategies for your assigned categories • Collaborate closely with designers, suppliers, and planners to ensure cohesive and successful collections • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competition to inform buying decisions • Negotiate pricing, quantities, and delivery schedules with suppliers • Monitor the production process to ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards • Lead and mentor junior buyers, providing guidance and support • Manage the buying budget and ensure profitability across all categories • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments • Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors
We are looking for people who…
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion, or a related field • Minimum 5 years of experience in a buying role, ideally within fashion • Strong negotiation and communication skills • Excellent analytical skills and a commercial mindset • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software • High level of English proficiency • Passion for fashion and a strong understanding of trends
