The Company
Our client is a Switzerland-based asset management firm, focused on delivering total returns across a broad range of asset classes, including fixed income, equity, and multi-asset strategies. Originally established as a multi-family office, the company is expanding into asset management with the launch of public UCITS strategies in early 2025. Its assets under management (AUM) have surpassed $1 billion and continue to grow.
The Team
The fixed income team operates with a total return approach, unconstrained by benchmarks, and invests globally across the capital structure, utilizing both derivatives (rates, credit, options) and cash bonds. The team consists of five members: two corporate credit analysts, a macro quant strategist, a special situations credit portfolio manager, and the team head. Currently, there are three credit strategies in place: Defensive Credit, Credit Opportunities, and Special Situations Credit.
Additionally, the equity team comprises five members focused on global equities, alongside a global macro portfolio manager.
The Role
The company is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join its expanding fixed income team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate analysis, with a focus on leveraged finance and high yield, and preferably a proven track record of providing long investment recommendations that have contributed to superior risk-adjusted returns.
Experience with emerging market analysis and a strong understanding of macroeconomic drivers, such as growth, inflation, and monetary policy, are advantageous. Knowledge of multiple sectors and companies is also a plus.
This role offers the potential for progression into a risk-taking position, such as a Portfolio Manager.
