Job Description

• Monitor relevant Swiss and EU laws and regulations related to ESG compliance, ensuring all business components manage legal risks effectively.
• Develop and implement ESG-related policies and procedures, focusing on supplier due diligence and the Supplier Code of Conduct.
• Support the Group Sustainability team in creating transparency guidelines for ESG matters and addressing promotional and product claim issues.
• Provide legal assistance for non-financial reporting obligations, including standards set by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC).
• Educate stakeholders across the Group on legal and regulatory aspects of our sustainability strategy.
• Prepare reports for governance committees related to ESG compliance and strategy implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive ESG initiatives within the organization.

The Successful Applicant

• Academic qualifications in business, law, or ESG/human rights disciplines.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in a similar legal role, preferably in-house or supporting international clients on ESG matters.
• Previous experience in the retail or luxury industry, a strong advantage
• Bilingual in French and English; proficiency in German is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts.
