Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Generative AI (m/f)

MAIN TASKS

You will play a critical role in shaping the future of our AI-driven solutions and building up our AI Competence Center, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge AI technologies into our sales, marketing and product development processes. In particular, this includes the following activities:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models, focusing on generative AI to optimize product design and customer solutions
Collaborate with product development, engineering, and data science teams to incorporate AI-driven insights into various processes
Develop and implement scalable AI solutions that can be integrated into Geberit's product portfolio and manufacturing systems
Mentor and guide junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of learning and innovation
Optimize machine learning pipelines for scalability and performance, ensuring robust deployment in production environments
Contribute to the development of AI tools and frameworks that enhance the digital transformation of Geberit's business operations

PROFILE

You have a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph D in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics (or a related field) as well as 5+ years of experience in machine learning, with a focus on generative AI (e.g., GANs, VAEs, deep learning, etc.). Your skills and qualifications include:

Proficiency in Python and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) as well as deploying machine learning models in production
Demonstrated experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
Experience in applying AI to CAD, BIM, or other design tools commonly used in construction and manufacturing is a plus
Experience with MLOps and deploying AI models in a large-scale industrial environment
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach to working in multidisciplinary teams
Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
