We are hiring an experienced Trading System Engineer to join our client, a prestigious Swiss private bank.
Location: Switzerland
Responsibilities:

• Define IT processes and workflows within order routing and trading systems, including systems like Front Arena AMS/OMNI (Market Access, Order Routing, Settlement) and Avaloq.
• Implement, configure, and test new functionalities as required.
• Perform analysis and provide support on a business level to optimize system performance and functionality.
• Develop and maintain thorough documentation for all configurations, processes, and updates.

Qualifications:

• Higher education (university or FH) in IT or natural sciences.
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience within an IT trading environment.
• Basic knowledge of trading across asset classes such as Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and FX, along with experience using FIX Protocol, TLS, and encryption.
• Familiarity with FIS Front Arena execution trading systems and/or Avaloq is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and to independently manage tasks with a hands-on approach.
• Ability to perform well under pressure.
• Fluent in English; fluency in German is a plus.
