To strengthen our ambitious, highly motivated, and powerful team, we are now looking for a:

Tasks

You will be driving the evolution of our mobile, shaping its copy and text content to meet the needs of our users and enhance their experience. This includes close collaboration with our product, design, tech, and marketing teams to ensure unified, clear and concise language across our app.

You will be responsible for the following areas:
UX Copywriting

• Craft clear, concise, and user-friendly text for various sections of our app.
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to ensure unified and concise language across the app which complements the user interface (UI) and enhances the overall user experience (UX).
• Continuously improve the app copy based on user feedback.

Translation Management

• Oversee the translation process for all app text, ensuring high-quality and contextually appropriate translations in German, English, French, Italian, and Spanish.
• Coordinate with translation agencies or freelance translators to manage translation projects.
• Review and edit translations for accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness.

Quality Assurance

• Perform regular quality checks on all app text to ensure clarity, readability, and consistency.
• Address and rectify any linguistic or contextual issues identified in the app content.
• Maintain a style guide and glossary to ensure consistency across all languages.

Requirements

What do you need for this job?

Language Skills

• Native German speaker.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficiency in French, Italian, or Spanish is highly advantageous.

Experience

• Proven experience in UX copywriting for an app or a similar role, preferably within a fintech company
• Experience with managing and implementing translations in a multilingual app (German, English, French, Italian and Spanish).
• Experience with Lokalise would be a plus, but not essential

Skills

• Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and how copy impacts user experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with translation tools and software is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
