About the role

Reporting to the Country Manager this position is responsible for the management of all aspects of Sales and other, with a concentration on sales and profit growth within Key Accounts in line with company objectives

The main responsibilites of the role include:
Sales Activities

• Sales Performance v Budget and Previous Year
• Relationship development with all key client personnel
• New line review and presentations to accounts

Business Development

Periodic review and business analysis with respect to:

• Range improvement
• Shelf management
• Maintain and improve share of section
• Maintain and improve positioning within section
• Promotional planning
• Maximise return on investment
• Coordinated to enable maximized results

Customer Service Activities

• Plan, implement and control programs to continuously improve customer service levels through administrative procedures, physical distribution, co-ordination ad liaison planning of field force activities.
• Control of claims processing
• Maintain in-store disciplines and execution either directly or indirectly
• To liaise with Brand Managers when dealing with retail customer complaints

Planning Activities

• Prepare budgets and strategies for sales
• Prepare business development plans for category development and improvement of Pharma Care share of category
• Forecasting requirements by account

Management Reporting

• Provide continuous market intelligence

• Key Account experience or exposure is essential
• Exceptional relationship development skills, with the ability to build strong rapport
• Strong negotiation and selling skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategies with measurable implementation
• Strong commercial understanding of business issues and opportunities
• Highly motivated, with the ability to work autonomously
• Personality and passion to succeed
• Proactive in approach and meticulously organized
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications essential
