Syntegon Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. located in Bangkok is the regional Service-HUB, approximately 50 colleagues (Sales, Technical Support and Field Service) are devoted to supporting our customers in SEA, South Korea, Pakistan and Australia / New Zealand.
We are expanding our Engineering team in Asia Pacific. The growing business and additional responsibilities require an extended team of motivated and experienced internal sales colleagues. In this role, you will interact daily with colleagues from various countries.

Job Description

• Technical support for Sales and Field Service Engineer Team.
• Design of machine modernization and upgrade projects (BOMs, electrical diagram, PLC and HMI Software, calculations, components research, etc.) based on the defined market requirements (Sales).
• Maintain documentation (modernization BOMs, installed machine BOMs, user manuals, etc) support Sales and Marketing with technical information.
• Define economical replacement for obsolete Electrical parts.
• Part identification for spare part sales.
• Technical support for purchase team (including finding and evaluating new suppliers).
• Support QMM process for incoming manufactured parts and for outgoing sets/assemblies.
• Customer visits for technical support if needed.
• Physical / Remote Support of installation and commissioning at customer’s site.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as electrical design and software engineer for machines (preferably packaging machines).
• An understanding of Electrical Design is a must.
• Experience in maintenance / technical service is a strong plus.
• Technical education (electrical, software, electronic engineering), master’s or bachelor’s degree.
• Good experience with AB (Rockwell), Omron, Mitsubishi and Beckhoff software.
• Very good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience working in a multinational organization.
• Proven ability to work independently on your own initiatives as well as in a team environment.
• Good team player with ability to support colleagues.
