Knauf Turkey office is based in Ankara, with 2 plants and 4 quarries serving the Turkish market and exports of our product. We’ve been producing high quality, market-leading gypsum building products for 91 years. Knauf Turkey is a part of Knauf Middle East, Africa & South Asia (MEASA) which is one of Knauf Group's regions. Our 2100 strong team including 350 Turkey team is growing and we are looking for passionate, ambitious people to help us achieve our goals. We are now looking for another team mate to join us in Izmit Plant Maintenance department as Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

What you’ll be doing:
- Managing and developing the mechanical maintenance team,
- To manage Predictive, Planned, Preventive, Corrective and Reactive maintenance activities,
- Improves & Plans daily, monthly & yearly maintenance. Supports Kaizen & Continous improvement activities
- Compliance to health, safety and environmental rules and regulations
- When necessary, preparing technical documents such as technical specification, drawings, progress payment, maintenance instructions and technical reports
- In necessary cases; managing the process by communicating with OEM companies for spare parts supply and maintenance activities
- Organizing, managing and supervising the subcontractors,
- Following the budgets of the department, to plan and manage business plans accordingly and to ensure efficient use of resources,
- Leading new Capex projects, to execute according to technical specifications and Knauf requirements,
- Determining the critical spare parts stock quantities, stocked and non-stocked spare parts, consumable and service needs that will ensure the continuous operation of the facilities and to take the necessary actions to supply them.
- Ensuring that employees work in accordance with Knauf culture, to follow employees attendance / leave / rest / overtime, etc., performs 1:1 and team meetings and interviews, listen to their requests and suggestions, informs the HR and Plant Manager when necessary.

- BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering,
- Experience on Industrial Maintenance
- Good knowledge and active user of SAP-PM module, Auto Cad, Ms Office Applications
- Proficient application of core tools/ principles, industry best practices and recognition for technical expertise (RCA, PDCA, 6 sigma, Lean manufacturing, 5S)
- Excellent command of English both written and spoken,
- Strong communication skills, teamworking and consumer centric,
- Residency/ To be able to reside in İzmit.
