Knauf Turkey office is based in Ankara, with 2 plants and 4 quarries serving the Turkish market and exports of our product. We’ve been producing high quality, market-leading gypsum building products for 91 years. Knauf Turkey is a part of Knauf Middle East, Africa & South Asia (MEASA) which is one of Knauf Group's regions. Our 2100 strong team including 350 Turkey team is growing and we are looking for passionate, ambitious people to help us achieve our goals. We are now looking for another team mate to join us in IZMIT PLANT as PROCESS ENGINEER.

What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for the production and process improvements of gypsum plaster and gypsum board,
- Executing line and performance measurements, which lead to diagnose the technical problems of the plant,
- Investigation of improvement potentials on "process", "production rate" and "quality",
- Analyzing the periodical laboratory and production reports,
- Evaluation of customer claims due to production together with local responsibles,
- Implementing new products and processes together with Region Team,
- Reporting of all production facilities’ activities,
- Creation of production check-list tables and cooperation with production responsibles,
- Evaluation of plant’s needs and preparation of investment reports with feasibility studies,
- Close cooperation with Region Team and perform project-based studies together,
- Continuously analysis and optimization of production processes.

- BSc degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering,
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position,
- Good knowledge and active user of SAP-PM module
- Knowledge of/ Interested in Lean Management, 5S and Continuous Improvement, digitalization,
- Working experience in an international environment,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, especially MS Excel
- Strong communication skills, teamworking and consumer centric,
- Excellent command of English both written and spoken,
- Residency/ To be able to reside in İzmit.
