About the role:


The Sales Team Leader will oversee the performance of the sales team, ensuring the achievement of company sales goals and objectives. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of Sales Agents, providing guidance, training, and support, and fostering a productive and positive team environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for helping patients receive the best possible care.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and

  • Provide coaching and feedback to Sales Agents to improve performance and skill levels.
  • Manage team scheduling to ensure 100% front-line availability and coverage across all communication channels, including phone, Whats App, live chat, social media, and email.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and processes to maximize lead conversion and booking rates.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including revenue, estimated gross booking value (EGBV), and cancellation/no-show rates.

  • Identify and implement improvement initiatives to enhance the sales process and customer experience.

  • Ensure the team provides excellent customer service, responding swiftly and courteously to patient inquiries and complaints.

  • Oversee the coordination of appointment bookings between dental/medical providers and patients, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.

  • Support Sales Agents in upgrading patients to higher-value treatments and promoting available discounts and promotions.

  • Ensure accurate capture and documentation of patient information in the Zoho CRM tool, maintaining a +95% accuracy rate for tags, notes, and follow-up tasks.

  • Monitor daily sales funnel activities, conversions, and projections, providing regular reports to senior management.

  • Collaborate with other departments, including Sales Managers, Marketing, Content, and Supply, to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving company objectives.

  • Facilitate regular training and coaching sessions to keep the team updated on best practices and new product offerings.

  • Provide ongoing training on the Best Practice System (BPS) documentation and training materials.


ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUIRED
  • Attend regular team meetings

  • Weekend availability, according to shift schedule (5 days on, 2 days off)

  • Early/late availability, according to shift schedule

  • Communicate with team members via phone, web conference and e-mail

  • Preventing unsound or unethical business practices.

  • Submitting timely expense reports for reimbursements and completing other tasks and reports in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

  • Support the achievement of the Medical Departures Inc.’s sales and revenues objectives

  • Help build the world’s largest global medical marketplace



Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years proven experience as a Sales Team Leader or similar role in a remote sales environment.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts as required.

  • Strong analytical skills and a results-driven approach.

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) *need-2-have*

  • Ability to handle high volume of email, phone, chat, social media traffic simultaneously (leads & prospects)

  • Experience meeting or beating sales targets

  • Proven experience being in the ‘top tier’ of sales performance at your previous employers

  • Extensive technical experience with: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams Chat) or Google Business suite (Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Docs, Drive), CRM (Zoho, Zendesk, Salesforce, Sugar CRM, Freshworks), phones (Twilio, Ring Central, Dialpad, Call Tracking Metrics, T ollfreeforwarding) , chat (Live Chat, Olark,

  • Familiarity & knowledge of dental or medical procedures *nice-2-have*

  • Excellent listening and writing skills

  • Travel savvy - international travel experience *nice-2-have*

  • Ability to work responsibly and productively from a remote home-office environment with good time management.

  • Weekend availability, according to shift schedule (5 days on, 2 days off)
