Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Officer located in Istanbul. The Logistics Officer will be responsible for:

• Managing shipments (Booking, Tracking, Documentation, etc) with other team members,
• communicating by email to shipping lines, and occasionally clients if needed.
• Organizing their documents.
• Keeping Track of shipments arrivals, and departures.
• Some administrative tasks as they present.
• Sending updates to clients, or other agents of their shipments.

Qualifications

• Freight Forwarder skills
• Supply Chain Management and Administration skills
• Experience in logistics operations and Freight Forwarding Operations
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Experience of minimum 1 year or more is preferred.
• Good English skills, speaking, writing, and reading.
• Basic computer skills, excel, word, Microsoft, and outlook.
• is up to date on the current shipping situations in Turkey specifically, and world wide generally.
