Grants Officer

collaborating closely with the LHL Business Development Manager. This role involves managing grants within the Oxfam Ukraine portfolio, encompassing information and system management, reporting, donor compliance, and fundraising support. Additionally, the Grants Officer aids in capacity building for partners in these areas. Key responsibilities include grant management, updating and maintaining the CRIMSON system, and providing overall support to the LHL Business Development Manager.

- At least 1 year of experience and knowledge of managing funds from donors, including significant experience of grant management and reporting.
- High level of attention to detail and analysis to ensure that donor compliance and reporting meets Oxfam’s and donor’s high standards.
- Well-developed report writing skills and experience of financial/budget review and analysis.
- Sound skills in capacity strengthening in relation to donor compliance and reporting.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and an entrepreneurial approach to contract management.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt swiftly to changing priorities, maintaining a solutions[1]oriented approach to challenges.
- A team player with highly developed interpersonal, influencing and relationship building skills.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal (English).
- Good administrative and numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Desirable:
- Existing understanding of Oxfam’s fundraising and contract management systems and procedures (E.g. Crimson and People Soft).
