About the Ukraine Analysis Hub
ACAPS Ukraine Analysis Hub (UAH) has been monitoring the conflict in Ukraine and producing timely, independent, and high-quality analytical products on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine and the region since March 2022. Since its inception, the UAH has delivered a comprehensive set of analytical products, including in-depth analytical reports and datasets.
The UAH also seeks to bolster analytical capacity and assessment capabilities in Ukraine, through mentoring and technical support to the broad humanitarian response, including Ukrainian civil society organizations.
The project is composed of 20 staff members and consultants, working mainly from Poland and Ukraine.
Purpose of the position
The Senior Analyst (Data) supervises the planning, production, and quality of the UAH’s quantitative data focused analytical products. S/he also contributes to this production by writing and delivering analysis if necessary and leading the development and improvement of ACAPS methodologies for quantitative data analysis. The post holder leads on-the-job training for the analysts, data collectors, and data analysts , s/he supervises and supports the Team Leader with networking, partnerships, and fundraising efforts. The Senior Analyst (Data) is expected to be an expert on the Ukraine context. The position reports to the Team Leader and is part of the UAH’s management team along with other Senior Analysts, the Project Manager, and the Civil Society Advisor.
