Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer

- BS degree in Engineering or Computer Engineering / Science
- 5 – 8 years of experience in embedded software design and implementation
- Working knowledge and experience on embedded firmware development
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Understanding of the server/storage protocols such as SCSI, SAS, PCI-e, TCP/IP, SMB and I2C
- Competent in scripting languages, Python and Perl scripting
- Excellent working knowledge of various OS (Linux, Windows, Unix etc..)
- Working knowledge of the SNIA Redfish API
- Upper Intermediate English level
- Good system Hardware/Software integration skills
- Strong communication skills interfacing with colleagues
- Experience in system level problem determination
- SAS Expander Development
- Skilled in the use of SAS Analyzers and I2C bus analyzers.
- Primary responsibilities include sustaining support of their products in the field.
- The candidate, at times, may work directly with customers to resolve issues.
- Interact with engineers and architects to clarify requirements, analyze problems and perform maintenance on the code.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- The Embedded Firmware Engineer must have strong problem solving and analysis skills along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
