Senior Guidewire Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Guidewire Business Analyst to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Guidewire platforms and be adept at optimizing business processes through robust analysis and innovative solution design. As a valuable member of the team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our system's performance and usability to meet evolving business requirements.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor the ticketing system, analyze incidents and requests, and guide end-users by providing solutions or escalating issues to other IT teams
- Resolve application issues, improve performance and usability, and provide root cause analysis with improvement recommendations
- Provide expert knowledge on workflow designs and support the workflow processes
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, meetings, and presentations and lead review sessions for completed requirements with key business users
- Build and maintain strong relationships within business units to understand their needs
- Collaborate with development and testing teams, offering subject matter expertise, leveraging out-of-the-box functionalities, and assisting in issue resolution
- Concentrate on proposing solutions that elevate the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes, maintaining consistency across products
- Plan and participate in User Acceptance Testing activities, including developing test plans and scripts
- Assist in the User Acceptance Testing execution phase, coordinating with business leads and project managers for test signoff
REQUIREMENTS
- Background in business analysis with 5+ years in the Commercial Property & Casualty insurance industry
- Expertise in Guidewire and integrations to exterior systems
- Proficiency in policy administration solutions, iterative and agile methodologies, including hands-on knowledge of SDLC & PMLC processes
- Experience writing business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, business process diagrams, and data rules
- Understanding of troubleshooting system issues
- Competency in communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Capability to self-manage and efficiently handle ambiguity
- Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and business teams
- Qualifications in using standard business and project tools like Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point
- Familiarity with Share Point and UI mockup tools
