What project we have for you

We are on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join our Tax team. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to details and the ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. This position is responsible for review of direct & indirect returns preparation, provides advice and supports to the business-related questions from tax perspective.
The position supports overseas Group tax compliance.

What you will do

Direct & Indirect Tax Compliance:

Reviewing corporate income tax returns and related filings, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Support tax payment calculations, request manual payments (if needed) and prepare an overview of payments schedule, monitor cash tax forecasts.
Perform quarterly accounting reconciliation of tax amounts.
Handle local Tax Authorities’ inquiries, support tax audits and ensure compliance with local tax legislation.

Withholding Taxes:

Help manage withholding tax compliance and reporting requirements.

Project Support:

Contribute to corporate tax projects, including tax planning, M&A and Transfer Pricing projects.
Assist in integrating acquired entities into the company’s tax processes, improving compliance and reporting methods.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

Ensure a positive and constructive environment within the team and with internal and external interfaces.
Work closely with various departments to gather information and provide assistance.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax obligations and payments or refunds.

Continuous Improvement:

Promote a culture of high performance and ongoing enhancement of tax processes.
Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and assist with managing market tax positions, audits, and communications with fiscal authorities.
Conduct research on new tax filings or country-specific requirements as directed.

What you need for this

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax or Accounting.
Demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to details.
2-3 years of experience in handling tax matters in a multinational tax environment in corporate tax department or Big4.
Excellent Tax Accounting knowledge.
Strong knowledge of corporate income tax laws and regulations related to multinational corporations.
Proactive, well-organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong accounting, analytical, time management, and project management skills.
Excellent collaboration skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Knowledge of Power BI is an asset.
