As a Java Engineer, you will be working on developing best in class software products for our travel marketplace. Currently, our Client is in a strong growth phase and is working on building world-class travel e-commerce products to help us scale and serve millions of customers. - Integration with new travel providers APIs and support of the existing ones. Both the creation of new integrations and the migration of old ones (originally in PHP).
- Collaborate with engineering teams across company to support travellers and suppliers.
- Build awesome user-facing products / features.
- Create new ideas with our product team to constantly improve the experience.
- Implement unit and integration tests.
- Good understanding of design patterns.
- Understanding of unit test frameworks.
- Algorithmic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and engineering practices (continuous integration, continuous delivery, test-driven development).
- Fluent English and good communication skills, ability to express complex things in an easy to pick-up manner.
- Experience with Bootstrap.
- Understanding of common architectural concepts, patterns and approaches.
- Understanding with Microservices Architecture and cloud services.
- Understanding on how to operate at scale and have a cloud Dev Ops / infrastructure mindset (Kubernetes).
