Overview
The Senior Audio Engineer will assist with delivery of high-quality Audio solutions in a variety of Events within an exciting and challenging environments with tight deadlines, our Audio team is driven to ensure quality is a priority and that excellence is achieved in all aspects of delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work as part of the team, assisting in the design, preparation, installation, and testing of all audio equipment.
2. Supervise the effective and safe working of other personnel, including skilled and unskilled personnel.
3. Share with the department your knowledge and experience keeping all members of the department abreast of new software releases and operational changes.
4. Ensure the Company’s policies, rules, procedures, and obligations are observed in carrying out all the above duties.
5. Diagnose faulty / damaged equipment and ensure it is clearly marked and serviced.
6. Ensure correct equipment entry into the equipment rental software, including bar codes.
7. Support the Audio Team with routine maintenance to ensure the equipment is kept in good, safe, and efficient working condition.
8. Keep up to date with the latest equipment and technology within the industry.
9. Ensure all Incidents and Injuries are reported immediately.
10. Fulfill any other reasonable task required by the company.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum 5+ years’ previous experience in a similar role with a good understanding of the industry.
2. Experience working and operating on Special Events, touring music and corporate environments.
3. Experience with Audio Networking: Dante, AVB, etc.
4. Experience in Systems Design, Deployment and Optimization.
5. Mastery of Wireless Microphone and IEM systems.
6. Mastery of DSP, Digital Mixing Platforms.
7. A Basic Understanding of Rigging.
8. A working knowledge of recording systems and connectivity is desirable.
9. A good understanding of: Electrical safety at work, PAT testing, Safe working practices.
10. Ability to always display a positive attitude, both in the warehouse and on-site.
11. Ability to learn and retain information within a reasonable time frame.
12. Excellent written and spoken English and/or Arabic is essential.
