Administration Assistant

Future Meds is a network of modern dedicated research sites conducting clinical trials. We are able to find eligible patients for trials across a wide variety of therapy areas, helping pharmaceutical companies and contract research organisations to run clinical trials as efficiently and cost effectively as possible. Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and highly organised Administrator to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling patient communications, including making and receiving calls, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, and addressing patient inquiries. Additionally, you will support the team with a variety of administrative tasks essential to the operation of the site. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with administrative experience and an exceptional telephone manner who is keen to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team. This role is full time and based on-site in our Birmingham clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
· Making and receiving telephone calls from patients.
· Scheduling and rearranging patient appointments ensuring diary organisation and maximising clinic capacity.
· Responding to patient inquiries via telephone or email.
· General office administrative tasks.
· Support to the Site Director and other team members as required.
· Record keeping must be accurate and legible with great attention to detail.
· Data entry.
· Displaying high standards of professionalism at all times.
· Ensuring patient confidentiality is adhered to at all times.
· Ability to work under own initiative but always as part of the wider team, maintaining good working relationships.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Administration experience is preferable
· Exceptional telephone manner is essential.
· Willingness to learn.
· Excellent communication skills.
· IT skills would be an advantage.
