Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced Asset Surveyor to attend properties and evaluate the works required. The role will entail attending properties with contractors to agree specifications, manage void works through to completion and handover.
You will be joining our Residential Property Management team for a remote role involving travel to Bromley, Croydon, Crawley and the surrounding areas. The Residential Property Management team oversees large, complex residential developments on behalf Institutional Investors, Developers and Residents’ Management Companies, providing comprehensive leasehold and block management services.
The working hours are 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Monitor work delivery, progression & completion via ongoing site visits to ensure works are adequately resourced, are being effectively delivered to set quality standards, completed on time and within budgets.
• Maintain and update our internal and external stakeholders as well as IT systems
• Review contractor invoices and works orders for accuracy. Manage costs through a variety of mechanisms including Schedule of Rates, local supply chains and industry knowledge.
• Ensure contracts are compliant with all legislation, Health & Safety matters, policy and good practice.
• Co-ordinate and monitor contractors effectively via ongoing site visits to ensure works are completed to Decent Homes Standard and within set timescales and budget.

Key requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• Relative experience of building maintenance & void management.
• Experience in the management and administration of domestic building repairs.
• Understanding of all current Health and Safety and Building regulations
• Knowledge of repair responsibilities, leasehold obligations, and other related housing issues.
