The Lost Estate (TLE) seeks an experienced and outstanding team of Bar Supervisors, to lead our fast-growing guest experience team of bartenders and bar waiters in a hands-on, customer facing role, for our immersive performance and dining experiences. As well as delivering our exceptional cocktail list, you’ll also embody the spirit of the 58th Street Country Club by bringing your own hospitality character. You’ll work closely with the Hosts, Bars and Hospitality Managers in ensuring exceptional guests experience as well as bringing genuine time travel to the 1930's inspired venue.
You will supervise the guest experience bar teams on the floor during service, inspiring them to deliver a world-class hospitality experience that captures the spirit and ambition of TLE productions.
You will uphold the licensable objectives and be responsible for delivering the standards of service, and the complexity of the menu, asset out by the Bars Manager and Hospitality Manager. You will be responsible for the quality control of all drinks that leave the pass, and their journey to the guests, ensuring exceptional customer service at every step.
The supervisor will be responsible for the day to day shift administration, including signing off cleaning schedules, managing inventory, closing down daily staff scheduling, coordinating with the kitchen staff and handling customer queries and feedback. Ultimately ensuring the safe running of each given shift and making sure the bar and bar support areas are effectively managed and ready for handover at the end of the day.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Day to day running of the bar and bar team
• Effective wastage control through our EPOS system
• Quality control of the all drinks prepared
• Adhering to cleaning standards set by the bar manager, on shift and at close downs
• Train and motivate the bar team. increasing their knowledge and providing the best service possible
• Ensuring the team is engaged and set for success
• Assisting with stock counts
• Assisting with menu development and cocktail creation
• Taking food and drink orders and supporting the bar waiters with any job specific requirements
• Ensuring guest satisfaction through actively seeking feedback and resolving complaints
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of our drink offerings, including cocktails, wines, and other beverages.
• Contribute to a positive team culture by actively participating in staff incentives and fostering a supportive work environment.

Role Requirements
Essential

• Experience supervising close knit high performing teams
• Minimum 3 years Hospitality experience with one year in a supervisory capacity
• Cocktail trained with a passion for drink innovation
• An excellent and efficient communicator.
• Experience working with company compliance procedure and licensing legislation
• Enthusiasm for training and personal development, always looking to inspire and lead by example
• Passion for bartending and beverage service.
• Acting as “responsible persons” for all licensable activities.
